What’s different
Your architect's plan already exists. Use it.
Planelico annotates your original PDF — its dimensions, scale and walls — then turns the equipment you place into a proposed set of circuits and an electrical panel.

From plan to electrical panel
Turn your floor plan into an electrical panel fully documented, down to the labels
Planelico analyses rooms, floor areas and placed equipment to size ring and radial circuits to BS 7671, group them sensibly and organise the consumer unit. You then get the report to hand to your client and the labels to fit on the enclosure.

01
Check every room
Enter the room type and area. Planelico uses each room’s floor area to size ring and radial circuits to BS 7671, and flags any room whose area is missing.
Area recorded for each room
Floor area served per ring or radial
Rooms missing an area clearly identified
02
Generate sensible circuits
Outlets and lighting are grouped by nearby areas, without mechanically creating one circuit per room or filling every circuit to its limit.
Balanced grouping of adjacent rooms
Cooker, electric shower and EV charger on dedicated circuits
Exterior items handled as a separate area
03
Organise and export the panel
Circuits are spread across 30 mA RCDs in the consumer unit and presented in a PDF consistent with your floor plan.
30 mA type A RCDs, never type AC
Circuits split across RCDs to limit nuisance tripping
Standalone export or included in the full PDF

FAQ
Everything about Planelico
How do I create an electrical plan for my house?
With Planelico, upload your architect's PDF, then drag & drop electrical symbols (outlets, light points, switches, RJ45, smart home…) directly onto the plan. Add per-room zones and draw wiring connections between devices. Then export your electrical schema as a professional PDF with legend and summary.
Which electrical symbols standard does Planelico use?
Planelico draws on the IEC 60617 graphical symbols, the international reference adopted in the UK as BS EN 60617 and used across Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The library covers the full range of domestic equipment: socket outlets, dedicated appliance circuits, lighting points, two-way switches, data outlets, the consumer unit, detectors and ventilation. Wiring regulations themselves differ by country — BS 7671 in the UK and Ireland, NF C 15-100 in France — so compliance stays with the electrician who signs off the installation.
Can I create an electrical plan for an apartment?
Yes — Planelico fits both single-family houses and apartments. Each PDF page is treated as a separate floor or level. You can annotate each room independently and generate a global summary for the whole dwelling.
Is Planelico free?
Planelico offers a free plan with 1 cloud project, up to 2 floors and 2 layers per floor, PDF import and watermarked export. Premium (£19.90 lifetime) unlocks the full generated panel and up to 3 cloud projects. Pro, with unlimited projects, starts at £9.90/month.
How do I export my electrical schema as a PDF?
Click "Export PDF" in the toolbar. You can include elements, labels, legend, zones, wiring and, with Premium or Pro, the saved circuit schedule with its RCDs and modular panel layout.
Can Planelico generate circuits and the electrical panel?
Yes, with Premium and Pro. Once rooms are qualified and equipment is placed, Planelico sizes ring and radial circuits by floor area to BS 7671, groups nearby rooms, puts the cooker, electric shower and EV charger on dedicated circuits, spreads circuits across 30 mA type A RCDs and lays out the consumer unit with spare ways.
Is Planelico suitable for electricians and design studios?
Yes. The Pro plan includes a customizable professional title block, your logo, and per-link sharing of plans. Pros can deliver clean technical documents straight from Planelico.
Do I need to install any software?
No — Planelico runs entirely in your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). No installation required. Your projects are saved automatically in the cloud. You can work on desktop, tablet or Mac.
