An editor that is easier to get started with
Move the plan with a simple drag, close a zone by clicking its first point, and get symbols of consistent size, with or without a label underneath.
✓Click an empty part of the plan and drag to move it: the “Pan” button is gone. Holding the space bar and middle-clicking still work.
✓Drawing a zone no longer requires choosing a number of points: click the first point to close it, once three points are placed.
✓The plan keeps the full height of the screen when you zoom out or move it, without being cut off at the bottom.
✓Symbols with a label (oven, washing machine, 20A, USB, heat pump…) are now the same size as the others on the plan, with the label below and clear of the drawing, including in the PDF export.
✓The plans on the Pricing page are wider and easier to compare.
✦New featurePlanelico initiative
Single-line diagram generated from your panel (French projects)
For projects in France, Pro now draws the distribution diagram from the generated panel. You complete it with what is actually installed, every value is checked against NF C 15-100, and the PDF is ready to print.
✓Available for projects in France (NF C 15-100) with the Pro plan.
✓In the panel window, “Single-line diagram” draws the main breaker, RCDs and every circuit with its rating, cable size and the symbols of the equipment on your plan. Large panels continue across several landscape A4 pages.
✓Click a circuit or an RCD on the diagram to enter what is actually installed: rating, curve, poles, breaking capacity, cable type, size, fire class and installation method.
✓Every value is checked against NF C 15-100 and a non-compliant one is shown in red, with an explanation. Missing details stay orange and generator proposals stay blue until you confirm them.

More precise electrical checks for your project’s country
Checks now distinguish electrical protection requirements from design guidelines more clearly. The preview and PDF report explain the limits of the UK and AU/NZ standards review.
✓In the US, lighting circuits are checked against wire size and breaker rating: 14 AWG up to 15 A and 12 AWG up to 20 A. A 20 A breaker on 14 AWG is flagged as a blocking issue.
✓An unknown project standard displays a warning and prevents generation of a replacement electrical panel using another country’s rules.
✓In the UK, floor area, point counts and the eight-circuits-per-RCD guideline are distinguished from protection requirements; exceeding them remains a non-blocking warning.
✓The UK model remains based on A3:2024 and requires an A4:2026 review. AS/NZS 3000:2018 profiles flag that amendments A1–A3 have not received a consolidated review; these warnings appear in the preview and PDF report.
✓UK content distinguishes electrical recommendations from requirements more clearly, and the Australian and New Zealand launch documentation has been corrected.
✓The library, favourites and recent items respect the selected country. Navigation back to projects and shared-plan links preserve your market more reliably; version history, navigation and page language follow your interface language.
✓In quotes, categories and remove buttons use your interface language.

Reset your password from the sign-in page
Use “Forgot password?” to receive an email and choose a new password without knowing your old one. This also works if you normally sign in with Google.
✓On the sign-in page, enter your account email address and select “Send reset email”. The flow is available in French and English on every plan.
✓Open the link in the browser you used to request it, then enter and confirm your new password. If the link is invalid or has expired, you can request another email.
✓Reset links that return to the homepage are automatically directed to the form. Expired links display instructions for requesting a new one.

Planelico is now available in Australia and New Zealand: AS/NZS 3000 and switchboard
Australian and New Zealand projects follow AS/NZS 3000:2018: power point and lighting circuits, a switchboard with RCDs, TPS cables, and prices and quotes in A$ or NZ$ with GST. The site, guides and documents adapt to your country.
✓Two new markets: /au for Australia and /nz for New Zealand. You land on yours automatically, and the country selector at the top of the page lets you switch. Wording follows local usage: power point, switchboard, RCD.
✓AS/NZS 3000 circuits: power points on 2.5 mm² radial circuits at 20 A (up to 20 points) or 16 A, lighting in 1.5 mm² at 10 A (up to 20 points). A dedicated circuit is recommended for a 20 A oven; 32 A cooking stays on its own circuit.
✓Switchboard: 30 mA type A RCDs, at least two, no more than three circuits per RCD, with lighting split across RCDs so it never depends on a single one. In New Zealand, the EV charger gets a type B RCD, a circuit of at least 32 A and an isolating switch.
✓Rooms with no equipment are flagged in the generation preview and the PDF report notes, without blocking: you can continue if they are intentionally empty. Exceeding an informative capacity guideline produces a non-blocking warning.
✓Prices include GST: Premium at A$39.90 or NZ$49.90, Pro at A$19.90 or NZ$24.90 per month. An existing AUD or NZD billing currency is preserved, and checkout shows the amount and currency charged.
✓Quotes and invoices (Pro) with the country’s GST (10 % in AU, 15 % in NZ), line templates specific to each country (certificate of compliance in AU, CoC and ESC in NZ), and business fields for licence / ABN in AU and NZBN / GST in NZ.
✓Guides, terms of use and privacy policy adapted to each country.

Planelico is now available in the US: NEC 2023 and load center
US projects follow the 2023 NEC: required circuits, a load center with GFCI and AFCI breakers, imperial units, and estimates in dollars with sales tax. The site also adapts to your country without asking.
✓One site per market: planelico.com in France, /uk in the United Kingdom, /us in the United States. You land on yours automatically, and the country selector at the top of the page lets you switch.
✓NEC 2023 circuits: 20 A / 12 AWG general-purpose circuits (or 15 A / 14 AWG), lighting and receptacles on the same circuits, two small-appliance circuits for the kitchen and dining room, and 20 A circuits of their own for the laundry, bathrooms and garage.
✓Load center: each breaker carries its own protection (GFCI, AFCI or dual function) based on the rooms and appliances; 240 V circuits for the range, dryer, water heater and EV charger (sized at 125 %) take two spaces.
✓Presence checks: a receptacle in every room that needs one, switched lighting, front and back outdoor receptacles for a house.
✓Imperial units: areas in sq ft, dimensions and heights in feet and inches, wire sizes in AWG, NM-B cables and lengths in feet.
✓Estimates and invoices (Pro) in US dollars, with a free sales tax rate (labor can be non-taxable), license number and US wording.

Planelico now speaks UK: full BS 7671 support
Every project now follows its own wiring standard: BS 7671 in the UK, NF C 15-100 in France. Circuits, consumer unit, symbols, exports, quotes and invoices all match the country of the job.
✓Your country is detected automatically and applies to your new projects; you can change it at any time in “My account”. It is independent of the language: a French project can be prepared in English. Existing projects stay on NF C 15-100.
✓UK socket circuits: 32 A ring final in 2.5 mm² (up to 100 m² served), or 32 A radial in 4 mm² (75 m²) and 20 A radial in 2.5 mm² (50 m²). Capacity is counted by floor area served, not by the number of sockets.
✓Kitchen on its own ring, lighting on 6 A (up to 13 points), 30 mA type A RCDs, washing machine and dishwasher on the ring, cooker and electric shower on their own 45 A circuit.
✓New UK-only items: 45 A cooker control unit, electric shower, immersion heater, shaver socket and fused spur (FCU).
✓UK conventions across the project: circuit references (SKT, KIT, LTG, DED, RCD), twin & earth cables, consumer unit report and labels, in the language of your choice.
✓Quotes and invoices (Pro) in pounds sterling, with UK VAT (20, 5 or 0%), your company number and UK wording. A quote follows the project country, and you can pick another one.
